The
Eleventh Circuit is part of the old Fifth. If you clerk here, you will learn by heart when the split occurred, because you will drop the same footnote every time you cite an old 5th case, and you will also learn whether Unit A or Unit B became the Eleventh.
So you're saying that after six months of clerking, I should know which Unit the Eleventh Circuit is in?
